Thursdays 14:00-16:00, Ziskind 1.
Important notices.
1. If you are a student in the course and not in its mailing list,
let me know immediately.
2. Starting Wednesday 27 December, we will have a parallel minicourse
here, given by Nadav Samet, on the topic of Qualitative Ramsey Theory
(extensions of Ramsey's celebrated theorem to sets with topological structure).
This will supplement our course.
The course will be self-contained, no prior knowledge is assumed, except
perhaps very basic topology (open sets).
The minicourse will meet each Wednesday, 11:00--13:00 (with a break),
in Ziskind 261 (except for Dec 27 where it will be in Pekeris Room).
The first few lectures are according to the booklette Cantor's Dream. The remainder of the course is according to: T. Jech, Set Theorey (3rd edition, 2003), available in the library on the overnight reserve shelf.
