Introduction to Differential Geometry (88-526)

This was a one-semester, two-hour-a-week course that I gave in 1996/7 covering the classical differential geometry of curves and surfaces. It was intended as a bridge to prepare students with very little geometric background for a course in modern differential geometry. I distributed 4 exercise sets: they consist of some "classic" problems and some computational exercises, some taken from books, some home-grown.

Addendum: I am now aware of three books in Hebrew about the material of this course, the books of Marcus, Furstenburg and Farber. All can be found in our department library.
