Title: "Indian Lunisolar Calendars"

Abstract

In India, numerous lunisolar calendars are in use,
and others have been used historically.
These fall into three categories: arithmetic (like the Hebrew
calendar); calculated (based on medieval astronomy);
and astronomical (like the modern Chinese calendar).
I will discuss these calendars, their calculation, and their accuracy.
