Moed B: The moed B of the exam will be on October 28 (2004), good luck!
Exercises. You will get homework each week. You must give them back within a week from getting them. No delays will be approved, but it suffices to hand out 70% of the exercises. It is recommended that you hand out more -- in this case the best 70% of them will be taken into account. The exercise and the quiz will determine about 30% of the final grade.
New exercises. The last two exercises are available here. Please hand them out to Moshe or Arthur until one week before the exam. You can send them by regular mail if you prefer (Moshe Bitan/Arthur Yosef, Department of Mathematics, Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan 52900).
Note: Moshe makes there some important announcements.
Quizes. There will be one quiz (Bohan) in the middle of the course. It will affect the final grade in about 10%.
Exam. The final exam will determine the remaining 70%
of the grade. It will consist of a multiple-choice (=American) part,
and a part of open questions.
Notice You must obtain at least 60% at each
part in order to pass the exam.
Also notice that at least one of the open questions will be about a proof of a theorem/lemma/remark/claim.
